Daniele Carli started his own team in the Italian Supersport championship in 1997. In 2001, with the support of Pirelli, he ran former Australian Superbike champion Steve Martin in the World Superbike championship with Ducati. The DFX team switched to Honda last year with the experienced Pier-Francesco Chili partnering the youthful Michel Fabrizio. For 2007 Steve Martin has rejoined the team, while Chili will develop his remarkable riding career into team management. |
