Suzuka 8 hours

The legendary Suzuka 8 hours race will celebrate its 30th anniversanry this year. The fixture retains its huge importance in the Japanese racing calendar and Honda Japan will once again field the strongest entries possible, with highly developed superbike spec versions of the class-leading Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade. This is perhaps the single most important race of the season for Honda and the other motorcycle manufacturers based in Japan. Honda has an impressive history in the race having won 21 times from 29 starts since the races inception in 1978.

MFJ All-Japan Road Race Championship Series

From this year, the factory team will be allowed to take part in the JSB1000 class. In order to further increase opportunities for people to watch and enjoy the races, Honda will enter the JSB1000 class as TEAM HRC.
