The spirit of challenge
Since its first announcement in 1954 that it would compete in the Isle of Man TT, Honda has shown its determination and desire to meet and conquer every challenge through its technology and products. Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) is a team of specialists, bonded by a common dedication to motorcycle sport, with a determination to succeed and to face every challenge head on.

Working under pressure
Racing is an environment where research and development must yield results as quickly as possible. HRC fosters a working environment that ensures its people can operate to their full potential, whilst success is founded on close interaction between different projects. HRC also works closely with Honda Motor Co., contributing to such areas as frame design, new materials and engine management systems.

Research
Because of its dedication to the development of race-winning machines, research and development is the first priority for HRC. New advances are quickly incorporated into factory racers while co-operation with Honda Motor’s R&D department leads to advances on production machines.

Spreading excitement of racing
HRC is actively involved in the promotion of motorcycle sport through marketing its own technology to other racing teams at affordable prices. Of course, such promotion is in addition to the HRC ‘factory’ race teams and the support of satellite teams that enhances the excitement and development of the sport.

Customer support
HRC has no fewer than 23 Service Shops in Japan, with a further seven in other parts of the world. Through this network, an extraordinary high level of service to customers is maintained, with feedback and dialogue encouraged in order to further develop HRC’s advanced technological expertise.
