The Monte Carlo-based LCR Team, run by former 125GP rider, Lucio Cecchinello extends into 250GPs for 2007 with Irishman Eugene Laverty running alongside his MotoGP team-mate Carlos Checa. At the age of 21, Laverty has emerged as a rider with true potential following two years competing with Honda Racing in the British Supersport championship where he finished as runner-up in 2006. |
